Come Celebrate Miss Alison’s New Book!

Our very own children’s librarian, Alison Jackson, is pleased to announce the publication of her thirteenth book for young readers. WHEN THE WIND BLEW (Henry Holt, Inc.) is the story of “Rock-a-Bye-Baby”, only in this version the wind blows so hard that the baby  is blown (cradle and all) onto the house belonging to The Old Woman in the Shoe. What ensues is a whirlwind of mixed-up nursery rhymes, humorously illustrated by Doris Barette.

The Pacific Grove Library will be hosting a book signing party for Alison on Thursday, April 24, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Along with copies of WHEN THE WIND BLEW, she will have her other titles available for purchase as well.
